About Us
Confianza Coffee is inspired by “Tienda La Confianza” that was founded in the 1950s by my grandfather, Jose Cruz, in Tijuana, MX. He sold home goods door to door from his van. He offered the option of interest free payments for those in the community who couldn’t afford to pay up front. For my non-Spanish speakers, Confianza means “trust”. We follow my grandfather’s example of creating and maintaining an environment of trust so all may feel welcome and relaxed at Confianza Coffee.
